Le Dimore del Quartetto

Le Dimore del Quartetto is a creative cultural enterprise that supports international young chamber music ensembles at the beginning of their career and enhances European cultural heritage, in a circular economy. Le Dimore del Quartetto started based on a simple exchange: on the occasion of an artistic commitment, musicians are hosted in a historic house and they offer a concert to the house owners. In this circular economy, the houses become a precious resource for the ensembles and vice versa.

Today, with a European consolidated network in the fields of music and cultural heritage,Le Dimore del Quartetto is specialized in planning and in the management of diverse projects, such as festivals and travel itineraries, masterclasses and training programs for musicians,  educational and awareness projects for schools, universities, jails and hospitals, team-building activities for companies, residencies and concerts in historic houses and other places of cultural interest.

In 2021, Le Dimore del Quartetto organized the 150th anniversary of the passing of Cristina Trivulzio di Belgiojoso through a cultural itinerary that led to the placement of the first statue dedicated to a female historical figure in Milan. Among the prizes obtained, are to be mentioned: Innovazione Culturale 2018 by Fondazione Cariplo, European Heritage Award/Europa Nostra Award 2019, The Best in Heritage 2020, Erasmus+ 2020 of the European Commission, the patronage of Fondazione Italia Patria della Bellezza for Archipelago 2022.
